About the Manager

Julie Foai is easily the most successful Manager of any South Pacific musical ensemble.

To date, she has booked and organised Te Vaka performances in more than 35 countries around the world, with repeat visits to many of them.She is also the Executive Producer of all their albums and oversees all Distribution and Licensing for Te Vaka music.
It was Julie's idea and inspiration to launch Te Vaka into international waters.In her own words ; " I saw the potential of the music back in 1994, trusted my instincts above the many who advised against taking such a big group to Europe and decided I was going to make it happen anyway " That vision continues today,14 years later!

It is no surprise that she has gained much respect and admiration from her peers in the international world of music. Her 'nothing is impossible' attitude has certainly gained her respect among the Te Vaka members who were originally skeptical back in 1995 during their first meeting when Julie put a note on the table that said - 'Target ...take this music to the world'.

She has definitely achieved that!
